Deceased Estate Cleaning & Clean-Ups in Melbourne
Cleaning out a loved one's home is one of the hardest jobs after a death. We take it off your hands: sorting belongings with care, clearing the house, and a thorough deep clean from top to bottom, so the property is ready to hand back, rent out or prepare for sale.
One contact, one itemised quote, and photo updates at every stage. You never need to be there.

What a deceased estate clean-up includes
Every home is different. After a walkthrough we quote only what yours needs.
Sorting and setting aside
We go through the home carefully. Photos, jewellery, letters, important papers and anything the family has asked for are set aside and kept safe.
Clear-out and rubbish removal
Furniture and household goods are packed for family, donated where possible, and the rest removed. Personal documents are securely shredded.
Deep clean, inside and out
Kitchen and appliances, bathrooms, walls, skirtings, windows and tracks, light fittings, cupboards and floors, plus carpet cleaning where needed. Outside, we tidy the garden and pressure wash paths and decks.
Odours, stains and years of build-up
Homes that have been closed up or lived in for decades often need more than a standard clean. We arrange the right cleaners and treatments for the job and tell you upfront what's needed. We also take on hoarding clean-ups, working through the home room by room and at a pace that suits the family.
Specialist cleaning after an unattended death
When a death has gone undiscovered for some time, the home needs specialist cleaning before anything else can happen. We coordinate qualified specialist cleaners for this, then carry on with the clear-out and the rest of the clean, so you still deal with just one person.
Ready for the next step
If the home is being sold, we can carry straight on with repairs, painting, flooring and styling. See Deceased Estate Preparation.

Questions families ask
How much does a deceased estate clean-up cost?
It depends on the size of the home, how much needs to be cleared, and how much cleaning is needed. After a free walkthrough we give you one itemised quote, so you can see exactly where the money goes before anything starts.
What happens to my loved one's belongings?
We sort everything carefully and set aside keepsakes and important papers. We pack items for family members, donate what we can, securely shred personal documents and remove the rest.
Can you clean the house if we live interstate or overseas?
Yes. We arrange access, manage the whole job and send SMS and email updates with photos, so you never need to be there.
How long does it take?
Most clear-outs and cleans take a few days. If you also want the property prepared for sale, most estates are market-ready in one to three weeks.
Can you start before probate is granted?
Yes. With the executor's go-ahead we can sort, clear and clean the home while you wait for probate.
Can you help with a hoarded home, or a home where the death wasn't discovered straight away?
Yes. We take on hoarding clean-ups, and we coordinate qualified specialist cleaners when a home needs cleaning after an unattended death. We'll explain what's involved at the walkthrough and include it in one quote.
Do you work with our real estate agent or solicitor?
Yes. We work alongside your agent and keep the executor, family and solicitor updated throughout.
